TravelPerk Teams Up with Airbnb, Opening Doors to 6,000+ Corporate Clients

Businesses can now book Airbnb’s instead of hotels - Here’s what hosts need to know

Key Details:

TravelPerk, a leading corporate travel platform serving over 6,000 businesses, just partnered with Airbnb—giving its clients direct access to 8 million Airbnb listings worldwide.

According to TravelPerk’s Business Travel Report, 62% of CEOs expect their travel budgets to rise this year, primarily to boost sales and secure new business through conferences and face-to-face meetings.

TravelPerk’s president and COO Jean-Christophe Taunay-Bucal says the new partnership with Airbnb will "address the growing demand for longer stays (28+ days) with unique homestay options” and will provide “valuable amenities and home comforts for remote work."

Essentially, Airbnb's strength in extended stays positions it perfectly for corporate guests needing weeks or months in one location.

TravelPerk clients will get dedicated booking management support and enhanced customer service provided by TravelPerk for Airbnb bookings.

Our Take:

This is a win-win. Business travelers now have access to Airbnbs - and they’ll be looking for comfort, space, and flexibility hotels can’t match.

For hosts, that means new demand. Expect more inquiries from professionals booking longer stays.

Make your listings business-ready:

Highlight strong Wi-Fi, a proper desk, and a comfortable workstation. These details matter.

Here’s what hosts need to know about how these bookings work:

  • Travelers—not TravelPerk—choose which Airbnb to book.
  • At least one guest must have a verified Airbnb account.
  • The booking comes directly from the traveler’s Airbnb account, not a corporate profile.
  • TravelPerk manages the backend—using Airbnb’s “Travel for Work” settings to streamline reporting and billing for the company.
  • If your listing requires approval, you’ll still have 24 hours to accept or decline the request.
